After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Technology Arts, Mr. Flanagan went to teach at a private high school in Addison, TX for several years. He transfered to Richardson ISD and taught at Berkner HS as part of the CTE department. He is now part of the Magnet Program at Richardson HS having taught Architecture and Engineering courses.

With over 30 years of teaching experience, Mr. Flanagan focuses in the area of 3D Software, Autodesk Inventor and Revit. The high quality of work his students develop comes from his years of experience working with the latest Autodesk programs and 3D printers. His purpose is to prepare students to be able to work at a professional Architecture or Engineering office as soon as they leave HS and to be at the cutting edge in their academic institutions.

Mr. Rivera comes from the island of Puerto Rico where he graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design and a Minor in Geography from the University of Puerto Rico. He later obtained a Master of Architecture in the University of Southern California (USC) in 2009. He also studied at the TKK University in Helsinki, Finland and in the Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain.

After working as a bilingual teacher for 5 years he's now in his 2nd year with R-Studio, joined by Mr. Flanagan and other CTE teachers in Richardson ISD. The purpose of this effort is to provide an outlet for student work as well as to generate network possibilities among our students and staff, professionals in the field, post-secondary institutions, and civic organizations. Mr. Rivera is confident these efforts will end in making responsible professionals out of our students.
