R Studio is structured around its Project-Based-Learning experience. We strive to balance an academic oriented design studio based on college level curriculum, with a practical approach that prepares students for a work setting.

We keep testing and lecturing to a minimum. By focusing our curriculum in design challenges -both conceptual and practical- instead of anchoring it to books, note taking or testing scores, our students engage successfully in the process of design. We introduce concepts, skills, strategies, history, theory, sustainability, community, context, and many other considerations and topics throughout our projects, always differentiating according to students needs and talents.

We offer the 5 levels of High School Architectural Studies available in Texas:

A. Principles of Architecture

B. Architectural Design 1

C. Architectural Design 2

D. Practicum in Architectural Design

E. Internship Program

We are also in the works to offer Dual Credits to our students through El Centro Community College. If our efforts run smoothly, we will offer 1 or more credit hours that can be counted at the Community College level, as well as in Texas' major Public Universities that have an Architecture Program (UT Austin, UT San Antonio, UT Arlington, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Prairie View A&M, and Univ. of Houston).
